SkiSlot connects ski instructors at Kopaonik with the people who want lessons. This page says what we hold, why we hold it, and how to make us stop.

Who is responsible

SkiSlot is run by Andreja Žarković. Write to us at the address at the bottom of this page and a person will answer.

If you are an instructor

Your name, mobile number, email address if you give one, profile photo, action photo, introduction video, biography, certification, the disciplines, languages, levels and age groups you teach, your prices, your working hours, your meeting points, and the notification token of the phone you install the app on. Nearly all of it is shown to people searching for a lesson — that is the point of it.

If you are booking a lesson

Your mobile number, your name, your email address if you give one, the language you read in, and for each lesson: who is coming, their ages, and anything you tell the instructor in the notes. If you sign in, the account you signed in with.

Either way

The times and prices of your lessons, so both sides can look them up afterwards. We do not track you across other websites, we run no advertising, and we sell nothing to anybody.

Money

None passes through us. You pay the instructor directly, in cash or by card, and we never see a card number. Instructors pay us a subscription through Stripe, who handle that card and tell us only whether it worked.

Why we hold it

To show a lesson that is really free, to let an instructor and a guest find each other at a meeting point, to send the confirmation and the reminder, and to keep the instructor's own record of their season. Nothing else.

Who else touches it

We use a small number of companies to run the service. Each sees only what its job needs.

  • Supabase — the database, sign-in, and photo storage. Hosted in Ireland.
  • Twilio — the text messages confirming and reminding about a lesson.
  • Resend — the emails, where an address was given.
  • Stripe — instructor subscriptions only. Never a guest's payment.
  • Mapbox — the map on the search page. It sees the map tiles you look at.
  • Expo — delivering push notifications to the instructor app.
  • Vercel — hosting the website.

Where it lives

In the European Union, in Ireland. Some of the companies above operate outside the EU and move data under standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

A booking stays as long as either side might reasonably need to look it up — it is the guest's proof that the lesson was arranged and the instructor's record of the season. Everything that identifies you is erased when you close your account.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to erase it, and object to us holding it at all. Ask, and we will do it, without charging you and without making it difficult.

Closing your account

You can close your account from inside the app, or from the page below. Everything that identifies you is emptied. The booking rows stay, because a lesson involved somebody else too — but nothing on them points back at you.
